SharedInk was one of the very first companies to offer press-printed coffee-table style books to professional photographers. Since then, many more companies have started offering press-printed books. However, none can match the quality and value of a true SharedInk book.
Here's what makes a SharedInk book different:

< Our books are bound by hand and built to last.
The pages and end sheets are stitched together by hand, and the book is then finished by gluing the end sheets to the inside front cover and inside back cover.

> Premium quality cover materials,
such as finely woven uncoated cloth imported from Italy. Using premium cover materials costs a bit more, but we feel the extra quality is well worth it.

> Archival quality, heavy cover weight paper.
Each paper stock we use is acid-free and lignin-free. Our paper is not sapphire treated so it will not yellow with age.

< Full-bleed printing is standard with all of our books.

< Translucent paper flysheets are included at the front and back of each book. Page 1 of the book will "glow" through the translucent paper when you first open the book.

> Design the pages of your book as single or double-page (panorama) spreads.
We provide instructions and templates for easily making double-page spreads.

< Packaging presentation. Each book is protected by a plastic sleeve, and then packaged in a black folded cardboard presentation box (our small-size books, the MiniBook 8x6 and 5" Square Book, do not come with a presentation box).
